Problem
Beginners are facing information overload causing low retention
User Pain Point
Through 5 rounds of usability testings, we identified two main problems: Crowded information and lacked personalization.
Business Pain Point
Looking at Shin Kong bank's Firebase data, we saw a low retention rate and a high support needs.
Solution
Match users' mental models, making info more digestible
Clear hierarchy
Progressive Information Disclosure
Visualizing information
Make information scannable
Research Findings
Product-to-Action IA structure increase beginner navigation
From wireframe to design system
Non-designers struggled to visualize the final product
Transforming low-fi wireframes into visualizable designs for clearer client communication and streamlined design workflow.

Iterations
Adapting to legacy systems and removing risks
Modernizing within legacy system
Example here: Engineer can't merge same and different house's products.
Before
Users can’t differentiate 2 similar features by name
Process
Add explanation popup but users tend to close it w/o reading
After
Combined 2 buttons into 1 and add a popup with plain language to divide 2 feature
Removing transaction risk
Example here: Implemented positive friction to enhance user safety and satisfaction.
Before
Merging terms and confirmation pages led to rushed decisions and unnoticed transaction completions.
After
Split terms into a separate page, added a progress bar, and renamed the final button to "Confirm Transfer" - these changes helped users slow down and think.
